Chalk up last seasons abysmal performance to a laundry list of injuries. The Gauchos lost six players to injuries and won one game with only six players in uniform. Cameron Goettsche and Cecil Brown are back, and if coach Bob Williams can keep his team healthy, last year's performance should go down as a fluke. Todd Follmer, a 7'0" freshman who redshirted last year, transferred, but the signing of Australian Tom Garlepp, a 6'8" forward, should help inside. The Gauchos have four early-season games to get ready for a date with defending national champion North Carolina in Chapel Hill on Nov. 25.
